Floral Series

This series, named simply Floral, was introduced by Spode about 1830 and continued under the subsequent ownership of Copeland & Garrett.  It is considered the rarest of Spode's three floral pattern series.  The patterns all have the same border of alternating natural flowers and stylistic floral medallions, but a range of different floral specimens was used for the central feature.  Many examples printed in green survive, suggesting that this was a popular color for the pattern.
