Description:

This variation of the Trophies Dagger (Fitzhugh) pattern is printed in blue underglaze on a round New Stone China dinner plate.   In this version of the pattern, the usual centre medallion is replaced with an unidentified  lion badge.  A large view of the lion badge alone is found in the  Early Badge Book still retained in the Spode archives.  Unfortunately, no information regarding the owners was recorded.
