Union Wreath ThirdDimensions:
Description: Spode's Union Wreath Third pattern is exhibited on a New Indented tea plate in blue underglaze. Although it is numbered third by Leonard Whiter, this was probably the first production of a Union Wreath pattern, circa 1822. It is chiefly found on earthenware and, less frequently, on New Stone. The border is shared with Girl at Well pattern (P701). Drakard/Holdway Pattern Number P825 Mark Types and IDsImpressed 4 Transfer Printed 33 Workman's Mark Transfer Printed WMT 12 |
