Description:

This pattern is seen here on a New Indented earthenware tea plate printed in blue underglaze.  The pattern dates from the early 1820's.  It employs the same border as found on the Union Wreath Third pattern.  This pattern was used on a variety of wares and the subject matter made it a popular pattern for toy tea services.
