Description:

This pattern is exhibited on an earthenware dinner plate printed in blue and colored-in underglaze.  It has an uneven gadrooned border.  The jasmine for which the pattern is named is found in the border, not in the central pattern. The pattern was introduced in 1825.  It is documented in both a blue underglaze printed pattern and a two-color version as shown here.   The pattern is included in the Spode B series pattern book  and is number 118.
