Description:

This small earthenware covered pot, or ointment pot, is printed in blue underglaze in the Tower pattern.  The lid is somewhat stained from use.  It can be found in the 1820 Shape Book on page 28.  Shown below is a view of the top of the lid.  Click to enlarge it.
