Description:

Robert Copeland assigned the pattern name Old Peacock to this pattern, while Drakard and Holdway referred to the pattern as Oriental Birds.  No marked examples of this pattern, dating between 1800-1805, are known; however, the Spode Museum Trust holds an engraved copper plate with the pattern, thereby confirming the maker as Spode.
