This pattern is shown here on a bone china dessert plate printed in blue and colored in underglaze with over the glaze gild decoration. Spode first produced this pattern on stoneware.  The pattern was taken from an original Chinese export pattern. The Stone China pattern was recorded as number 2118. This example has a pattern number 4079 and is printed with a sheet pattern background known as Parsley.   According to Robert Copeland, the Peacock pattern "is probably the best known Spode pattern on Stone china."  The plate also has a painted pattern mark as shown here.
